About this kit.
My baby was born early — is the timing flexible?
Yes. Stages are a guide, not a deadline. For babies born early or with additional needs, follow your health visitor or paediatrician's guidance, including corrected age. Start wherever your baby is — you can always adjust.
What if my baby ignores some of the items?
Completely normal, especially at this age. Two or three favourites is the whole kit, really. The rest can wait in the box, or go back. Nothing is wasted — it moves on to the next family.
Is everything safe for a newborn?
Every item is independently tested to UK toy safety standards (UKCA & EN71) for choking, materials and durability before it ships. Use the kit while your baby is awake and supervised, and keep the cot clear for sleep. The playguide covers this in full.
How clean are returned items?
Every returned kit is inspected piece by piece, cleaned and sanitised, with books and guides replaced fresh. Anything that doesn't pass inspection is removed. If something arrives less than perfect, we replace it — no fuss.
Can I keep a kit longer than two months?
Yes. There's no fixed return deadline — keep it as long as your baby is enjoying it. Your next kit and the £5 credit are there whenever you're ready.
