These terms govern your use of the Mirnest website and your subscription to our kits. Please read them alongside our Returns & Refunds, Shipping and Privacy policies.
1.Who we are
Mirnest is operated by Mirnest Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17164263), with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London WC2H 9JQ. In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean Mirnest Ltd, and “you” means the person placing an order or using our site. You can reach us at support@mirnest.com.
2.Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a contract to order from us, and have a delivery address within mainland Great Britain (see Shipping).
3.How the subscription works
Mirnest is a stage-based subscription of developmental toy kits for children from birth to two years. Each kit is matched to your child's age and stage. After your first kit, we send a new kit on a regular schedule — roughly every two months up to 12 months of age, and every three months from 12 to 24 months — until you pause or cancel, or your child completes the programme.
We'll always email you before a new kit is dispatched and charged, so you can skip, pause or cancel from your online account if you'd like to.
4.Orders and pre-orders
When you place an order or pre-order, you're making an offer to buy. A contract is formed when we send you an order confirmation. For pre-orders placed ahead of our August 2026 launch, we'll confirm your expected delivery window and won't take payment for a kit until it's ready to be dispatched, unless we've clearly told you otherwise.
5.Prices and payment
- Each kit is priced at £50. When you return your previous kit complete and in good condition, you receive a £5 credit towards your next kit (see Returns & Refunds).
- A delivery fee is calculated and shown at checkout before you pay. Mirnest is not currently VAT-registered, so no VAT is added.
- Payment for each kit is taken at the point that kit is dispatched, using the payment method on your account.
- We may change our prices from time to time. We'll always give you clear notice by email before any price change affects you, and you're free to pause or cancel before it takes effect.
6.Ownership of the toys
When we dispatch a kit to you and payment is taken, the toys in that kit become yours. You're never obliged to return anything. If you choose to return a kit, you're sending those items back to us in exchange for the £5 credit, and ownership passes back to us when we receive them.
7.Returns, cancellation and refunds

8.Safety and suitable use
Our kits are designed for children within the stated age range and are independently tested to UK toy safety standards (UKCA & EN71). Even so:
- Toys must always be used with adult supervision.
- Please follow the age guidance and any warnings provided with each kit and on individual items.
- Keep items intended for older stages away from younger babies, as they may contain smaller parts.
- Check toys regularly for wear and stop using any item that becomes damaged.
If you ever have a safety concern about any item, stop using it and contact us straight away at support@mirnest.com.
9.Our content and brand
The Mirnest name, logo, website, playguides, board books and all related content are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property law. You may use them for your own personal, non-commercial enjoyment, but not copy, resell or redistribute them.
10.Our responsibility to you
We take great care over our kits and service. We are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill — but we are not responsible for any loss that is not foreseeable. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for breach of your statutory consumer rights.
11.Things outside our control
We're not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control. If such an event happens, we'll let you know and do what we reasonably can to limit any disruption.
12.Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on our site is the one that applies. If we make a significant change that affects your subscription, we'll let you know by email.
13.Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes can be brought before the courts of England and Wales. If you live in Scotland or Wales, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
